Ghost -s Extended Battery Life Tip.

Shifty

Motovlogger
Although the camera outlasts the GoPro by double, when my battery ran eventually ran out I just connected the camera via a USB cable to a powerful battery bank 8400 KA (Pebble) charger in my pocket and then it lasted the rest of the day.

Yes I do the same. It's nice to be able to connect the USB cable and still use the camera. Take that GoPro.

How long does the original battery last? I am looking to buy the camera as it is discounted to 175€ and the batteries for it are also very cheap. Three batteries and a Patona charger for 26€. I need it to be waterproof for rainy winter rides, so I guess the power bank is not the right choice for me.
What card are you using?
Thanks

It last twice as long as a GoPro and it all depends on settings but like for like twice as long. You can't Vlog on it waterproof as the waterproof back doesn't allow for an external Mike (like the GoPro too) but I will be honest I have got it so wet at 2000mtrs 3 hours storm and the camera picture viewer was fogged up for days but still worked. I have used it without the waterproof case now about 20 times in pissing rain so I could use a Mike in my helmet and when I got home I put the camera on a radiator, great video great audio and always recovered even though the view screen is still a bit wet... a bloody hardy camera !!!!!

Thanks. I am not going to vlog all the time, if at all. I would like to put one camera on a helmet and one somewhere facing to the rear. I ride a lot, sometimes more than ten hours a day and in different countries and miss a lot of interesting happening, if I am not filming all the time. Last time a guy in a car overtook me and then he span on the road about thirty meters in front of me and crashed to the hilly side of the road. He was O.K. came out of a car, but the car was destroyed. It was just starting raining so the road was very slippery.
Now with the price of 175€ for one I can get two with all the accessories for less than one Gopro.
