Giant thing.... Hrrrmmmm. Actually had an idea for something like that today but I can remember where the one here is. I know where there is one in Atlanta though.

Very likely! lol I figure you put something like that in your yard, you got to expect looky-loos.

Well done man! :D That's a creepy dragon though. Why would someone keep it in their yard?! He's got this look of "Mmmm. That kid was tasty. *rubs belly*"

They were probly trying to attract the kids. Some people are super weird.
 
I could draw in a dragon from scratch, but such trickery seems to be ignored. So I stopped with the sketch.

However, for a supersized something, how about a ship

For context, this is the "Viking ship" located in Hamar, it's really a big indoor arena built for the 1994 Winter Olympics. Modelled after the longboats the ancient vikings used to conquer the sea.
Boats with the simpler tub shape like that tends to be turned upside down in storage during winter to protect from snow and weather.

Bummer that I know where the worlds biggest broom is, as well as some old viking dragon carvings. But they are out of reach.

I want to see a bike in front of a monument next.

Neat! Had no idea that existed (showing my age... maybe in a good way for once? haha). Appreciate the mini-history lesson, too! Does it still get used for events and such? I know that's been a big complaint from cities who build out infrastructure for hosting the Olympics.

It's frequently used to host conventions and expos, as well as the worlds 2nd largest computer party: The Gathering.
In the winter there is an ice rink inside. Used for training and official races I believe.

So yes, it's still very much in use.
 
Good idea - I'm going to move this out of the competition arena though as its not really a competition as such, going by the posts anyway
