Anyone who has seen this before?

Seem to have some very interesting stuff on their.
Like the crash means auto saving last two minutes option it provides.

The 15 sec on is a bit short, but might be changeable.

It is missing a POV though, so no idea how the video quality would be like.

Clearly currently only being aimed at the American market.

Looks very small for one size fits all, and how long would a battery last etc etc etc

Hadn't seen this before, cheers for posting it up.

Seems like it has a lot of useful features, along with some which are a bit gimmicky (instant social media upload? Does anybody need that?). As a Drift user, the fact it looks really tidy on the helmet is very much a plus point. I also really like the idea of it letting people know if I've ended up off the road, down the hillside and am in danger of being eaten alive by a roving horde of rabid sheep. The infinite range intecom also sounds nice (although with the 20S the intercom has a very decent range as it).

My main concern is the image quality, double so given the complete lack of any actual camera footage in the promo. Given the RRP of $549 puts it above the top of the range GoPro, they need to have the quality spot on. Yes, it does a lot of things the GoPro doesn't, but a lot of people won't care about black box functions and auto-alert of family/friends in case of a crash if the video looks like it's come from a $100 eBay Special. I'd hope for it to be comparible, if not better than, the quality I get off my current cam.

Oh, and the 4 hour battery life is dependant of which 'features' are used. I do wonder what that means, exactly. Is it 4 hours doing video, or 4 hours just pushing telemetry to a smart phone and turning the camera on gives you 90 minutes? The former would be awesome, the latter, no so much.

Still, I think I'll keep an eye on this, if the quality is there I could be tempted.

I could see myself hitting a pot hole and then the unit sending my wife a text, telling her I've been in an accident. Then when I get home she's shitting bricks. That would not be a pleasant conversation.

That are two of the main concerns for me as well.
I mean, if the battery last a 2 and half hours of recording i'm happy.
And if they can go up to 2k video i'm also happy.
1440p would be already sufficient for me

They sure seem to be trying to pack a lot of tech/features into that thing. Typically when products do this they don't do anything terribly well...

Being someone who rides alone, I like the crash/emergency thing. Priced way out of my budget at the moment, as all the fun toys are. :D Mounting options seem a bit limited, and not sure it would work with my helmet as I have a prominent chimney vent. Still, I will be interested to see what they produce.

Its only a matter of time before all cams are this size. we just need to figure out the battery..

I would rock this, just as a second cam

From what I can see the battery isn't removable, so for rides over 2+ hours you're going to have to have it plugged into your bikes 12V socket.

That would be a shame, although that still depends on the battery life.
4 hours sounds good, almost to good ;)
