General First Vlog: Audio And Framing Testing

Kept it short a sweet, wanted to test out my GoPro HD3 mounting and aiming as well as the mic placement in the helmet. Came out great for a first try...except for the who part of not having the mic on the first go round...

It's a kids bike in a field, I was wearing a helmet, other than than that and a neck brace other gear isn't going to help a whole lot. Kinda like riding a bicycle. Thanks for the concern though, I gear up on the street and track. And tested said gear in a few crashes haha.

Thanks for the input on the sound, that was my biggest concern. I had my visor up and low speeds in this video, next try I will have to see how the audio sounds at highway speeds/visor down

What was the damage from the crash on the track?

CBR suffered broken intake tube, broken right clipon, rash on the swingarm when the spool came off, rash/breaks on the fairings. I only had a bruise on my left arm from the initial lowside whipping the arm. Leathers had rash and a lot of dirt.

I completely repaired and repainted the bike with the same fairings then traded for a RC51. I have a whole set of videos showing this bike's rebuild on my YouTube CBR playlist and the writeups on my blog if you want all the pics and details!
