I'm totally a GoPro fanatic btw...I just don't think the Drift is totally on par with the latest GoPro's...but hey in the end it will start getting subjective since they will all keep on improving!

I love my GoPro, but I did consider the Drift for a while. It's definitely more low profile than the GoPro. I have mine mounted to the front of the camera so it doesn't catch too much wind resistance. I had the Contour Roam but couldn't figure out the mic set up at that the time. Haha.

I had a Drift. I'd only have one again of Drift gave it to me in a platinum box, hand delivered by Mila Kunis.

Now I have a Sony Action Cam. Due to GoPro's massive brand recognition a girl at work last week noticed the camera on my helmet and shouted across the office...

"Look, you've got one of them Go-Cams!"

I have to say that from all the videos I have watch the GoPro by far has the best video quality in the action cams. Colors are more vivid and 60fps much smoother. Just my 2cents on this matter. I did not realize how much it would be to start motovolgging but I never regretted it and have enjoyed it ever since.

I have never regretted my choice for the GoPro. Bought one, it was quite expensive (360 euro's for a camera...is expensive...) but it hasn't failed me once!

I have the drift mounted to the side of my helmet but I am considering getting a GoPro to mount to the front of my new helmet.

I find side-mounted makes a lot of noise turbulence in my ear =(
