Fall Ride In The Canadian Foothills

So a little back story ... I've been watching you guys for years. In the winter when I can't ride and I have time, I watch vlogs. You guys seriously keep me entertained when the snow gets deep and the temperatures dip.

I picked up a cam last year and started capturing my rides. I've tried to vlog, or simply talk but I find myself more interested in watching the roads. I've been scratching my head trying to come up with a good intro and some interesting topics to capture the viewers, but at the end of the day I always find myself just jumping on the bike and riding. Some sort of creative block I guess. Anyways, even though I'm creatively stunted in my growth, the riding this summer has been awesome.

Shot this last weekend as I was headed south towards Grande Cache, a small little town in the Canadian Foothills. The cool thing about living up here is for 3 out of the 6 months we don't have snow, the tourists usually have all headed home.

Looking for some feedback, bad or good or indifferent. I would like to start putting together Pt.2 of this video and I'm not sure if I should just leave it un cut, or tighten it up. Pt.1 kinda took on a life of its own the other day via a few shares.

tl:dr - Looking for some feedback. I didn't talk in this one, just road my balls off and had a good time.

If I may be so blunt, I found it a little dull without any verbal or written commentary, and no music.

I may not be your target audience though, and as you have 1600 hits you must be doing something right!

May I ask where you shared it?

Sorry Mods, realized after the fact I posted this in the wrong section. My bad, please don't beat me up to bad.

I've shared a couple of vlogs over at http://www.hdforums.com and couldn't get more than 100 views and a bunch of keyboard warriors telling me how bad it was, which quite honestly, didn't hurt my feelings at all. That vid was my f.u. response to their criticisms. I don't get it either, because I honestly thought an unedited ride like that wouldn't do to well.

I have no idea who my target audience is, to be perfectly honest. I'm a lone wolf who lives real close to the Alaska Highway and I just wanted to capture some of the roads that most people who venture up here, have no idea about.

He isn;t a mod :) However, I will move it for you, no bother.

I love watching basic riding videos but for me, the length is far more than I would like to watch.

I find journey videos work when you have a start, middle and an end. I'd personally bang some music over the top and cut it down to under 5 minutes.
I don't want to spam you post but here is one of my videos. I tried to show the story of some mates simply having a laugh on 125cc motorbikes, broke it down to some twists and silly bits of the ride. Slapped on some Buck 65 and job done.
