Facny graphics

Hi all,

I use Sony Vegas Pro 9 for editing but it's just a timeline editor with some minor graphics capablilites (like transitions). Anyone know of a good program to create fancy graphics? You know, the really stunning stuff like a monkey crawling out of someone's ass.
