Editing Programs To Get Started?

Lol I just use a torrented version of Premiere Pro CC.
I don't have money to buy the full version so yeah.

I have tried before:
- Windows movie maker (not recommended, sucks)
- Sony Vegas Pro (interface too difficult to understand)
- Final Cut Pro (only on mac, but too difficult for me)

Sorry for digging up a bit of an older post, but I noticed Shotcut wasn't mentioned. Shotcut is free, open source, and super easy to use. There's also a whole community and forum out there for issues and support, and they have a YouTube channel which has how-to videos for almost everything you can think of.

I use a cracked version of Adobe Master Collection CS 5.5 but I used to use VSDC Video Editor. That is free

Thanks. I'm a big fan of anything open source, will be giving Shotcut a twirl.

Personally i recommend camtasia studio, very easy to use, allows you to put subs, images, memes, cut, split, change speed of clips, etc.

Used GoPro studio for my first video. It was pretty easy but I could tell that it wasn't the best one out there, plus it doesn't help that my computer is slow as molasses. I might try different ones in the future but for now I'm going to learn the ins and outs of GoPro studio.

Not using the studio anymore, I switched to my own computers program which was Cyber Director (free version). It was working fine and I needed it because I needed to sync audio to video. Now using the same program, camera, audio, it wont recognize the go pro files. I haven't changed how I do anything but I don't understand why it would do that. I am going to have to switch to a paid program.

Have you tried shooting more footage and testing the new footage. Could be the videos you tried. Cyberlink Powerdirector should be able to open the video files just fine.

Geez...I'm feeling pretty basic with my "old man setup"...prism tube and windows movie maker...I'm going to upgrade my camera but I'm not shure about learning these complicated editing programs, maybe by next year, right now I'm still trying to learn what I got, it works decent enough for what I'm doing.
Some of your video's are really cool...

Filmora Wondershare is not expensive and is simple to use. Only time I use the more complicated software is if I need to mask peoples faces or numberplates.

Thanks guys!!...I made the purchase, I'm in the process of downloading when the process is completed..I will buy the sony FDRX3000R in a week or two...

more like $64.00 with ins...now it's telling me I need more with this program..lol!
It's a done deal!...I got it downloaded and ready to mess with, I will be busy tomorrow..If you see a computer flying through the sky, you know I'm having problems..Im not very good at this stuff, but I'm learning... youtube helps, and you guys rock!..I knew coming here would be a bonus, thanks for your help!
