I am trying to edit a video i recorded with my Hero 3. I noticed on my Right output channel, there is an annoying scratching or beeping noise. What is it? What can I do to fix it?

The Roadrunner got into your camera.

Was the mic pushed in all the way when recording? Or it could be a shoddy connection like when you listen to an mp3 player n twist the headphones at the port it crackles

What editing software you got? If you use premiere pro put the "fill left" effect from audio effects onto the audio track.
You might be using a 1channel microphone

I had, well have the exact same issue but fix it in Premiere Pro. Set default to Mono to stereo. Then on each clip before you drag it to sequence, modify and uncheck mark the right side audio.

This will in turn duplicate the left side audio back into stereo.
