General Dual Camera Vlog (200 Subs + Channel Update)

I'm boring to watch...
Hey guys and gals, I'm experimenting with a new layout for my videos, and would LOVE your feedback on it's effectiveness. It's a bit more fussy in the setup, so I wouldn't do this every time. Also, 200 subs! Woot!

(^_^)o

i like how you have two different cameras. did you find syncing them up to be an annoyance? what are the noticeable differences between the gopro and the drift? i might have to get a new camera soon and i'd like to use the old one for extra shots. any advice so far?

Can I be brutally honest ? The side by side camera works well when you have both cameras facing the same direction but when they are not it makes it difficult to look at. Kinda made me feel a bit cross eyed. I think it's better when you have it set up like space pod, that is view within view...much easier on the eye ....sorry pal.

Syncing is not hard. At the beginning of the video, when both cameras are running and focused on you, give a loud clap. Then you can sync up the video and audio tracks easily.

The GoPro Hero2 is at least 2-3 years older than my Drift, so there's a noticeable difference in video quality especially in low light conditions when the Drift really shines. So I cannot say that both cameras can be compared to each other because of the age difference/technology.

I would love to get a newer GoPro. Even the Silver version would do. The GoPro fits into the dash area much better than the Drift would.

Your feedback is valuable to me, and I'm totally okay with people being honest. Otherwise, how is one to improve right? I know what Spacepod does (and others like him) and I like it, but I just didn't want to copy it, hence trying something new. I purposely put the GoPro footage on the left and the Drift on the right, because I noticed that objects would pass through one camera's field of view and into the other. I thought it was a neat optical effect.

But you are right, this way of presenting video is not easy viewing at times. Although it might make for interesting track footage depending on where the cameras are placed.

The two cameras is a bit distracting! I would work on your commentary before working on camera angles! Congrats on the subscribers bro! Cool idea too
