Yes, very easy to take on and off the helmet mount with the simple clip system it's mounted on.

Lining up is fantastic because you can review all footage on the LCD screen on the side and quickly make any adjustments you need on the go. It only took my around thirty seconds to set up the angle and position for the first time.

All round, brilliant camera! If I'd of known what i was capable of with this camera I would have gotten one ages ago!

Never used a GoPro. My Drift is having problems, but I have heard about so many problems for both, that I will probably stick with Drift. Never really liked the look of GoPro, but this bit about it being a pain to remove and attach I had not heard of before. Loks like I'm looking for an updated Drift then.
