HI all,

I have a Drift Ghost HD and I use it in full 1080p 60fps with Vibrant setting on. I was wondering how you guys use yours?

Do you film continuously or just push the button when you want the record the last 30 seconds (video tagging?), what settings do you use?

Cheers

I have mine on Normal most of the time & 1080p 60fps.

If I'm riding for a couple of hours then I leave it running continuously. If I'm riding all day or for multiple days then I usually have it on 1 min Tag mode.

Normal 1080 @ 60 HighBitrate on the Ghost S
Normal 720 @ 60 on the Ghost HD

Just constant record.

Never used vibrance is it any good?

HI all,

HD doesn't (didn't) do 1080@60, do you mean 720/60 or 1080/30? If so I used 1080/30 as I got a better picture that way, the 720 seemed really poor, although T71's vids look clear, no idea why mine didn't. I have an S now and use 1080/60.

:)

I say I use 1080/60, I've never used any other setting... I have yet to try the different modes, think I'm running in normal. Might try to remember to swap between modes when I'm next on a run.

I like how the video looks with Vibrance turned on however I suspect that will come down to personal preference. Try it our and see what you think.

Its nice and Vibrant in the Brecon Beacons (where I am now with the Hippy Van). Wish I had the bike.

I have the Drift Ghost S and use 1080p @ 60fps High Bitrate and the Vibrant setting. I feel the vibrant setting makes the colours a lot nicer, and makes it match the colours I get from the Gopro HERO.

I'm old school and have the Drift HD 1080. No vibrant setting. You can adjust the brightness up but on that camera it makes the image grainy. I've read on here that going +1 or +2 at night and then adjusting the contrast in editing makes for decent night recording, though.
