Drift Ghost Hd Battery Life

Seems my drift Ghost HD battery is starting to lose its charge after being used (charges and discharged) about 350 times. Thankfully I have a spare unused one so all good but I was hoping it would have lasted longer than that.

Anyone else worn theirs out yet?

I noticed that with my old drift... i alsa has a second battery which never seemed to lose charge that fast.. might just be a dodgy one

Mine's still going strong, had it a year and a half now, quite a lot of charging, and it still lasts 2hours+

I haven't had any battery life issues, although I haven't had my camera long enough for the battery to diminish.

I am however looking into to after market batteries to bring with me so I can film more footage.

LiPos don't have a massive life in general. They have a shelf life as well as a degradation after so many charges. Not encountered it as yet, had one of my batteries nearly a year now.

I've had my drift ghost for well over a year, use it a lot, battery is still good, 2:30-3:00.

I recently got a pair of Patona batteries for the drift with a wall charger which are great. Cheap too, got em on amazon. 3 Batteries now, I'm sorted!

I have 4 batteries for my old Drift HD170 and have noticed recently that a couple of them are not holding charge anywhere near as long as they used to. After missing out on footage a couple of times due to the battery going flat only about 20 minutes into a ride I decided to start plugging my camera into the 12v charger on my bike which has worked wonders. Downside is I have to remember to unplug my head from my bike when I dismount!:rolleyes:

Someone suggested to me that older cameras can start to drain the batteries after a couple of years. He seemed to think it was the camera. I have no idea. I am looking to upgrade this year anyway if my finances allow.

Weirdly I forgot the charge my drift the other day with the dodgy battery in and it died on the ride. Never happens to me as my to and from work ride is about 2hrs so the battery will always last if charged. Anyhow I charged it up at from dead and it now seems to be sorted. Holding a good 2+ hr charge again.

I am lucky to get an hour out of mine at the moment. :(

Mine is still new but I can get about 2:30 out of it. The batteries seem cheap. You can get 2 batteries and a charger off Amazon for < $25. I can't post links yet but it's called:
Wasabi Power Battery (2-Pack) and Charger
