Hi,
The cable that connects to the camera via a mini usb and connects to the external microphone via a 3.5mm female Jack is looking and feeling tired. The usb end gets warm and gets bashed because it sits straight down from the underside of the camera, which sits on the right hand side of my crash helmet. I have replaced this cable with a generic one from eBay with a right angle usb, but for some reason, the camera does not recognise the external Mic being plugged in and records from its internal mics. I suspect that some where in the Drift cable the connections get non generic for audio or some thing like that.
Has anyone had any experience in this area?
