I use Vegas Pro 11, I think movie maker doesn't like .Mov files, though I could be wrong. Where are they? On the PC or still in the Drift?

I don't believe WMM lets you import the MOV files either... you will either have to convert them first or use another editing tool. Most vloggers haven't paid for the software they use. Do the right thing and buy some decent software that's inexpensive like Cyberlink PowerDirector or use something free like OpenShot.

WMM will in fact NOT use MOVs. You have to convert them. If you want to stick with WMM rather than 'obtaining' a copy of a better, harder to use editor, then google "super video converter." It'll transform damn near anything into practically whatever you want. When I used WMM years ago I converted the files into something that started with an A. I don't remember what it was, but I had to do it because for some reason WMM doesn't like to work with WMVs. It's freaking strange like that.

download mpegsteamclip from squared5

i used that to convert to mov. at 8.14Mbps if its 720p or 15mbps if its 1080p mode.

For those times that I am going to use live movie maker, I mostly use Free Make Video Converter first.

I use .mov files in WMM all the time... I've chucked .wmv files in there too from time to time.

I'd try upgrading to Windows Live Movie Maker. I been transferring the files off my Drift into a folder on my computer and then importing them into Windows Live Movie Maker and haven't had any problems.
