Does Your Significant Other Ride?

When I had my KTM Duke 390 I taught my girlfriend how to ride and she loved it. Toyed with the idea of getting her a supermoto but after I got my R6 she now wants an R3. She moans when she pillions on the R6 because it's uncomfortable for her, which is her way of saying I need to get her that R3 o_O

My wife had wanted me to take her for a ride for while but my old bike wouldn't work. Now with my GS we've gone for several rides including to the top of Pikes Peak. She really seams to enjoy it. Although on her first ride I'll admit I wanted to test her and hit almost 100 and she didn't even flinch...o_O

I'm lucky if I can get her to leave the couch. Having her come along for the ride is like...unpossible.

=(

I think after 7 years, she just doesn't give a F--- anymore. We used to go on rides in the beginning.
Maybe as we age we are slowly turning into our cats?

So I've been bugging my girl friend to learn to ride for quite sometime. The other day she totally blind sided me by telling me she signed up for the MSF course, I honestly think I was happier then her. I wanna surprise her with a bike, and my question is what kind, type, etc. I was leaning towards a 250 or a 300, but had also debated sport touring bikes in the 500- 650 range as well. Granted she is a new rider and a 600 seems a little heavy and powerful for right now, so I am leaning towards the 250's or 300.

My fiance started riding this year. We got her a 2006 Buell Blast. Single 500cc. She likes it, however the gear box is shit! She wants to graduate to a Bonneville. I would recommend like a TU 250 or a ninja 250 if she likes more of a sport bike look. I have a friend that learned on a TU and he loved it.

my gf rides... on the back of my bike lol. she has no real desire to get her own bike but thats fine with me. she really enjoys riding with me especially now that i have a much bigger more comfortable bike
