Converting 4:3 To 16:9

I shot some footage with my camera on the wrong setting. Does anyone know how to convert a 4:3 ratio video into a 16:9 ratio video using either GoPro's software or Power Director 14?

Never used either but you will need to use a pan and zoom key frame to either stretch the image or zoom in.

Or just use it as it is. It won't really bother people.

In GoPro Studio in the advanced settings button you can change settings for resolution there before converting. Else you can pan and zoom in the edit section.

Probably by stretching, else you could have a 16:9 border/background, and put your video within that border, then it won't stretch to fit.

If it's 1920x1440 then import it into a 1080 sequence (or whatever you call it in PD) and it should fill the screen.
You can then move the raw footage vertically up and down to frame it correctly - in case is was pointing more at the sky or floor.
