General Clickbait. Love Or Hate It

Love it or hate Clickbait is redicously common. A fine line between the between a catchy title/thumbnails and pure clickbait

I agree that the creator should use a screen grab that is relevant to the video. There are some that use a screen grab for them mugging for the camera is some contorted facial features. That looks really bad to me. Too much narcissism.

As far as titles, I think a catchy title is OK if it is relevant. Being cheeky with the audience can be fun for those that catch the double meaning or irony.

Tags seem to feed a Boolean type formula so a given viewer can type in some words and the system tries to find matches. I believe the tags should be relevant.

I'll agree with you catchy, cheeky, double meaning, irony is fine. You have to get people to watch but Personally I think the issue is when someone tries to say that its creative titles but its really just click bait. It seems feels like sometimes there is a skill at times for coming up with somthing catchy and not be clickbait.

Bending the title to entice a click I think is fine. If it's obvious click-bait and stretches the truth a bit too far out of whack, then I don't like it.
