General "caution Mud On Road"

Made this a few weeks ago, wasn't gonna upload it as it's a tad out of context, and I sound a bit dodgy as I was ill, but after getting my bike so muddy, thought I'd have to get something out of it aha!

Took my bike down a road which I used to always use, and was a nice road. Turns out I practically ended up greenlaning!

Nice ! Please tell me, I know this wasn't one... but what is the point of a green lane (what we call a minimum maintenance road here) when nothing really is able to travel down it (like BvG )??? I know here they're usually for field access, but they're usually dead ends, too . I've noticed that green lanes in the U.K., most of the time, links up one road to another . Just curious .

Glad you made it through that one ok ^_^ !... makes me ready to get on my bike heh.....

They tend to only really be used by farmers, hikers etc. also alot of green lanes are seasonal, so for half the year they will be fine and accesable, but the other half overgrown and flooded!

The road I went down in the vid used to be a nice road, just the construction site which has screwed it up!

Yeah, it's a notmal paved road, the trucks have just covered it in crap from the fields, and construction materials!

If the trucks would have done that here, they would have been the ones cleaning it off . Can't believe they're allowed to do it there and that badly !~.....

I know! The amount of times I could feel the wheel going all over the place, it would be very easy to fall off! Still haven't got the mud out of my rad, and between exhaust pipes!

well, at least the mud has a nice clean surface to stick to. I did the same thing once. spent a week detailing my bike and then got caught in snow, slush, and road salt....
