Hi all,

Was heading to Northampton on Monday morning, when this happened.

He seemed okay in the end - apart from his potential broken arm - and the bike didn't look like it had taken too much damage.

Same day around noon.. 400 yards from that place I kissed the tarmac too!

I hate Mondays ;-)

I didn't hit any car. Just a lowside on roundabout exit. The good thing is my bike did not hit the tarmac hard and it went down gently spinning. Mainly cosmetical damage. I've replaced brake lever, brake pedal, indicator and mirror. Not too bothered by battle scars on the right panel

The speed was low.. about 50 mph.

Low. Low? LOW?! Are you FUCKING serious!? I low sided my Ducati on a roundabout at 20mph and knackered it! ahah... Although mine went into the curb which did most of the damage! My footage corrupted but Askpark208 got it - in case you haven't seen it already.

Back on the road soon?

I've seen it. I remember the tyres were new and it was quite damp at the time when it happened to you.

My case is different.. the tyres had about 600 miles done, and they were hot after 3 hours of riding the bike like I stole it. And it was dry. The lowside happened on the way back home when I was riding slow and relaxed  I was in a state of shock that it actually happened

I was riding my bike again yesterday :D

I've heard that a lot, that you drop your guard when you're nearly home. I guess there's no smoke without fire!

Awesome. I'll see if I can get a few guys out in Northampton soon, so I'll let you know.
