Can't Play 60fps Vids

Hey, I'm having some issues with my 60fps videos that i hope someone can help me with. Basically i watch my vids and decide where to cut that way. I accidentally recorded about 3 vids that i like at 60fps and noticed that i can't even watch them. The videos are super laggy making them unwatchable. I tried some different programs but the lag remains.

I don't know if it is quick time or my computer, idk if i have to convert it or what. Can someone let me know how to make 60fps videos watchable so i can edit them.

Sounds like you may need more memory. 60fps should be the norm when recording a motorvlog in my opinion as it makes things looks much better when you fly by them.

Try VLC player as an alternative. It also may be that your monitor/screen can't hack the speed as some have lower refresh rates. What spec computer do you have, and can you Google your monitor if it's a separate thing?

I'm working on a laptop at the moment.
-processor : AMD Turion 2 Dual-core Mobile M520 2.30GHz
-4 GB of ram
-refresh rate is 60 hertz

Although 60fps does take a massive amount of memory, it does look much better than the standard recording. So ill try VLC for now and see if that works.

I had this same issue w/ my editing software. Most software is setup for videos shot @ 30fps. Check to see if there's a setting/preferences you can change to edit @ 60fps

what kind of computer are you on? I have a separate video card for video gaming, etc (custom pc) and sometimes mine has a little trouble keeping up with full 1080 60 in editing. But playback is usually fine. you might need to put some cash into your computer, unfortunately.
