Can't Decide Between Multi Camera Or Dual Camera.

I'm trying to work out what works better when using 2 or more cameras.

Is it picture in picture style or swapping between the two.

Sometimes I think the picture in picture style is annoying as your missing part of the screen, sometimes I think its annoying swapping the view with no warning.

Both ways require no effort to do but I just can't decied which way gets the better result or should it be a mixture of the two.

So, you're right in both cases. In my opinion, full screen is the way to go. The trick is to not switch "without warning." you switch where it makes sense. If you can, switch on an action that naturally connects the two shots. A hand movement, lean, head turn, car passing, etc. There is a right and wrong place to make every cut. If it's wrong, it's jarring. If it's right it's seamless.

I tried picture in picture before, didn't go too well, I think you flip between the shots at the right timimg, it will be good. Otherwise you might get people confused with the flip-flop angles.
