Camera Alignment

If you use the same camera in multiple applications it may be worth marking the mount with the alignment point for each use.

I run mine in my car and that is easy to align but on my bike even with a screen it can be a pain to know exactly where to angle it if it gets knocked etc.

My method is a little more costly. I have separate, dedicated setups for my different mountings. I mark all of the joints, just in case something gets bumped, but I have a clip, arms, and case for all of my different setups. So I just take the camera out, put it in a different case with all of the other bits aligned where they need to be.
