Broken Drift hd170 Stealth remote

I took my Drift hd170 Stealth remote control apart to check and see what battery it took, so when it needs replacing i can order the correct one.

when i was putting it back together, 2 of the 4 bits that the screws, screw back into broke off, leaving the rear of the remote not fitting.

A Drift hd170 remote is £4.99 and a hd170 stealth remote is £9.99,

will the hd170 one work with my stealth?

As far as i know the are only very slight differences between the two cameras, i would assume they wouldn't bother designing a new remote so it should.

Don't take my word for it and the entire world is free to correct me, but that is what i would assume!

I will order one, not that i cant afford the £9.99, i just want to know if the cheaper one wil work :lol:

ok, just to be safe, ive ordered one of each, i will let everyone know for sure if the cheaper hd170 remote works when i receive it.

I forgot all about this thread, to answer my own question, yes the cheaper Drift170 remote works with the Drift HD170 stealth, so you can have as many remotes as you want, ive got one permanently on the bike, and a spare in a strap, i cant pair two remotes, but if need be, i can still pair one of them.
