I can have a look for the peaks, depending on how many miles you want to do. Theres a really epic route from Chesterfield to Buxton, then we could go across Cat and Fiddle to Maccesfield?
I remember a number of comments on some of my videos from one or two people attending this trip who said they wanted to go across Cat and Fiddle ;)
 
Half of me wants to go. The other half absolutely dreads Chesterfield due to one person I might bump into while up there.

Really undecided.
 
I agree with what Friz has said that road is a very nice road.

here's a map of some of the best roads around the peaks, yes it goes back on it's self & it takes 4+ hours to complete, but you won't regret them 4hours of riding, with stopping in between of course.

I've done most of these roads & I'm sure Friz & RCN have aswell, if you get Snakes Pass on a nice day you will love the view, Cat & fiddle never a fan of that road crash twice only ridden it twice bad luck to me :lol:, but thats biking for you.

Just zoom in to the map, look at (D) - (F) if your not amazed by those country roads God help us. I rode Long Hill quite recently & WOW! what a road. Get the little Orange man down & check them out.

So are we going to the travelodge and dropping our stuff off and then going for a ride ? Dont know how we are going about that.

Chesterfield is huge and we're only riding through it, not stopping.

If thats whats stopping you coming that don't worry about it, the chances of you seeing a select individual while riding through are slim to none.

And by slim I mean none.

Nope, meet at CMC, ride for te afternoon then go to the travel lodge

in october 2013 that is when my restricted licence end and as soon as it does that is when i will be getting my next bike which is between 4 bikes, three are 600cc and a 750 which i will make a video about it when i can.
 
yeah probably won't be making it guys lol! .. Sorry didn't realise how close it actually was haha ..
. if i can make it at short notice i'll let you know
 
it's a no from me i'm afraid, the bill from the garage is substantial to say the least so i simply can't afford it :( it's a real shame as i was looking forward to a great weekend of riding with you guys, but hey, another time :(

Not going to be able to come to this one chaps, cant get time off work and the combination of cost and me not thinking the bikes up to that long distance have dimmed my optimism. Once ive got myself my restricted licence and im on to a 600 i'll deffinitally like to meet up with you lot though!
