Room is booked for the first night and got a room second night, and no problems getting time off work so now I'm just waiting for this glorious EPIC weekend of riding.
Can't wait to see you all!
 
well after some info from DrummingBiker should be getting my test sooner than expected... much sooner :D :D :D :D HARAHARHAR .. but may not vlogging by then dunno .. need money for camera set-up .. but money saved from DrummingBikers info may go on to a drift ... (yes you all persuaded me to get a drift) :D:D ...

Look for the 'saver' rates. Put the details into the search box on the homepage and you will find the cheaper rates. I was caught out by that at first!

do you need to have training before doing the motorcycle test (restricted? ) ... just wondering .. will ask in diff thread if needed

not really but i did have some training for mod 1 as my instructer thought that i might as well just so i was prepaired for it and when i went to do my mod 2 my instructer said that he might as well see what i am like when im riding before i get to the place to do my mod 2, and he got board of following me because i was to good so he asked me just to make some silly mistakes so he had somthing to do. :D

You don't necessarily have to have training before doing the motorcycle test, but it is advised. If anything, training should be used as a confidence builder, especially for module 2. I had training for both 1 & 2, even though I was told at the end of my mod1 training that I could just go straight in to do my mod2, as my riding was fine as it was.

So...it depends!
 
Training is advised in everything really, but I choose not to & just did as much research & practice in a car park I possibly could.

Because I rode on a daily basis & the test route was the route I took to my grandparents, I knew the roads pretty much inside out.

I don't think it's the instructer that teaches you what to do, I think he teaches you how to use it in a test situation. < thats the way I see an instructer anyway.
 
I never had any training. The only training i have ever had was my CBT, otherwise i have taught myself through books, rideouts, youtube and practice, and i got no minors on my test, so it must have worked!
 
fair enough .. also i think i'll need to do through a training center near mine as they loan you the bike whereas i don't have a bike to do test on :/
 
I'm going to book my room today. I think carlsant1 and savethefreak have dropped out, so ive got no one to share with at the moment.

See if Darkzy43 has booked up yet. If not maybe slum it with me and Blake?? As curlys still not 100% sure he can make it anyway.

Yeah i was gonna say, the bike is going in the garage this week, having quite major stuff done now so it may well cost me a bomb, i'll let you know as soon as i've got the bill when i should be able to confirm yes/no :)

Got no problem with you slumming it with us if needs be :)
