I want good quality. I heard the gopros are bad because of battery life. I've been recommended the SJ4000, although the quality is meh.The YI 4k seems to be the best option. Do any of you know any other options?

I used to use a Wimius 4K for recording outside shots of cars and incar videos. It cost less than 100 bucks and is pretty good. Quality is ok, but sound is useless. But I've had it maybe 4 years and it's never gone wrong. You will need a sound recorder as well though. Internal mic sucks and no ability to use external mic unless you take it apart and do some soldering

This is everything I've got. After messing aroun
d with cheap cameras, sound recorders, SLR with mic etc. There really is no alternative to the GoPro and external mic...costs £$¥€ but it's worth it. Easiest way to go by far

I just bought the drift ghost x cost me 120 comes with 2 sticky mounts has a 5hour battery with optional upgrade to a 8 hour, and is quite a small cam so it good for side of your helmet

+1 for Firefly 8s

You are not going to get good battery from any gopro looking cam. The Drift and TomTom Bandit are 2 that come to mind that have good battery life. I've been using a power bank.
