ouch. I always try to research as much as i can before i actually go ahead and do things. Its sometimes a pain in the ass, but its saved me ALOT of trouble and money

That why I don't touch my bike anymore - even for oil changes - instead have a pro do it. Learned that one, too ... cracked oil pan - another $500 >_> (I think the pan was already cracked by the previous owner - I just made it worse ~_~ ... maybe why I got the bike as such a great deal ~_~ hum).

Grab a CTEK mxs0.8 or mxs5 and use the quick connector plug, Very handy to have!
