Arriving At The Isle Of Man

I went to the Isle Of Man TT practice week. As soon as we landed we stooped of by the coast. Even with the panniers, duffel bag and lightly my Kriega R25 got there and back no problem.

This is on my bucket list. I have been a fan and watcher for years and have even looked up trips to the Isle but have yet to commit. I wanted to go to see my favorite rider of all time Guy Martin but that wont happen. Enjoy and keep up informed with the happenings.

Didn't see much due to weather. 2 practice and the racing at Castletown but what I saw loved it. Fair amount of rain but it meant that I got to talk to more people. Definitely will be back next year. Hopefully for both practice and race week but not sure yet. Brilliant island, I'd happily move over

Ride it or watch? Watch Im with ya! Ride? My guts are a little short in supply as I get older, maybe a track day but them riders at Isle of man are fearless or crazy or both!

No not ride... yeah maybe at my own pace. But i meant going there on the bike and then watching the race

OK I'll join ya then lol, was in awe of your courage! I would like to do a track day like Hippo-Drones posted recently but it's like $500 USD with the rental of the bike. Traded my racer for an ADV bike so the wife can ride in comfort and hang on but now I don't have a bike suitable for the track.

Any bike is a trackday bike provided it has tarmac based tyres!

If you have road tyres, no reason not to play. There were supermotos at this trackday which are just light weight adventure bikes!
