Anyone Else Using The Git2

just got this bad and loving it so far for the price any one else using it?
I've been looking for a knockoff Gopro with external mic capabilities. How do you like it so far? Please share your likes and dislikes. Do you have any audio/ video samples?

I have a you tube sample and audio sounds good but my my mic had not arrived yet so this clip won't have good sound ..one thing I can say is the imgage stabilization is next level, some of this footage doesn't look as good cause it was starting to get dark out but in the day looks amazing I'll have a some more samples soon, also it fits all go pro mounts and cases
Just remember in the day light it looks much better than this

Weird when I watch this on here vs on my YouTube app it takes the quality down to abit fuzzy but on my app it looks clean

we call our self a scooter club Not much of a gang haha
Just a group of people that ride together once a week together
good times though usually we go somewhere for food or drink after the rides

i have it already and tested it and the sound is good, my helmet is all set up and works for vlogging ..editing is where I have some learning to do

But my computer wasn't keeping up so well with the programs I'm trying out
And my last ride I plugged the mic in after hitting record which gave me no mic audio..lesson learned, spent 30 min vlogging to no one /:

I bought a knock off GoPro protective case that looks like the water proof one but it has the holes for the mic, and the case that came with mine had clips where you would want to drill so I couldn't have done that anyway

Which case did you get that fit? I'm basically looking to do exactly what you did, so your pioneering really helps out!

I bought the Git2 a few months ago and it works great. Footage is just as good as my friends GoPros. I run it at 1080p/60fps, Use the loop recording, so it cuts the footage up every 5 min. Makes editing alot easier for me.
I bought a $10 external mic from Amazon with it, and the audio wasn't great at all. So I bought a Sony mic, I think it was $25 or so. Works amazing.
Had to mod the case a bit for it to fit. I'm very happy with it for the price.

I bought one to start off with but sold my 2nd bike shortly after so bought a gopro 4 to replace it :p

Its a good camera but I do notice the difference between that and my gopro, but the price reflects that. Keeping hold of it though as a secondary angle camera or a backup. My one major negative point is the quality of the mounts, they're more brittle than the gopro ones and I've managed to snap 3. Worried they might fall apart when riding and lose the camera haha

All riding SQUID too!... minus the 6-packs and tattoo's !
But I suppose riding scooters, they don't go fast enough to get road rashed ? :D
2 of the scooters are 125 cc
My new scooter(grom)is a 125
2 are 70cc 2 stroke Yamaha
2 are 150cc ruckus
One is a Morpheus 250cc
all together the power of one motorbike Haha
We can all hit 90kph Just not for a long amount of time comfortably lol #scoot life

Nice selection of bikes! ;) Looks alot of fun (watched the video).

Plus (agreed) it doesn't matter how big or small the motor, just getting out and RIDING is what its all about ! < thumbsup >.

You should be able to use the GoPro mounts, don't know what the difference in material/strength would be. I just purchased the Git2 myself - waiting for it to arrive. I currently have the Hero2, but wanted something smaller to be able to use on both helmets. The Git2 looks pretty impressive, I don't need 4k resolution, lol. The image stabilization is a real deal-maker, IMO.

You can, but they're much more expensive, 3x more IIRC. Although in hindsight they're probably worth it since I've broken 3.

For the price its not bad, but you do notice the difference in a side by side comparison to a hero4 for example
