Any bikes you regret selling?

Guest's "story" reminded me of a friend who sold his Boulevard C50, or what is a T50? I don't recall... either way, he sold it to his step son, who, ahem, "painted" it and modified it, and I currently have no idea where that bike is or what shape it's in, because the step son soon divorced from his wife [he took all the lovely pictures with her on the bike - but not like Guest's woman with the balance and all that] and moved at least 1 state away.

Anywho, I still sort of regret getting rid of my Vaquero, but only slightly - it was no longer comfortable to ride. Thankfully, my wife was on the fence about upgrading from her Shadow 600 to my Vulcan 800 when I got my Vaquero, so I kept the Vulcan, my first bike, and still have it!

So, out of 4 bikes procured throughout the last 15 or so years, I still have 3 of them :D

I'd need a much bigger garage if I'd kept 3 out of every 4 bikes I've owned... I think that would have me currently owning over 20 bikes still!

Yeah, well, you're not married to my fiscally conservative wife... I was shocked when she said, "Yeah, let's go!" when I showed her a used Street Glide I was looking to buy, and shocked again when we got there and she mentioned the blue one in the showroom and how it looked better, and further shocked when she paid for the pretty blue one in the showroom :D

I'm not pushing my luck!

I had a 1982 Silverwing that a deeply regret selling. The bike took so much abuse and never missed a beat. It was the perfect size for most things. I learned to ride on it.

I will say that there was another part of that memory that's easy to forget and that is that I was 18 years old! Youth in and of itself creates fond memories.

I have an NC700X now and in my opinion, this is what the Silverwing would have evolved into if they kept the name going for a motorcycle instead of a scooter. The parallel 700 is probably better than the v-twin, but it NC700X should really have a driveshaft like the Silverwing did.

In 1979 my biggest regret was selling my 1972 Kawasaki 750 H2 triple. It's a long story, but that bike gave me many years of fun memories.

I had the Triumph Sprint, but the GT version. Cracking engine, crackin ride but it killed my wrists after a while. tried bar risers but made no difference for me. Shame, it was a beauty:

My Yamaha TZR50 from when I was 16. Don’t have any pictures of it or me on it. Used to flip the L plate up behind my number plate and took my girlfriend for rides (now ex). 2 stroke and could actually go reasonably fast for a 50cc (around 65mph) It looked like a superbike but sounded like Crazyfrog!

I used to have an RXS100 but it was a Bajaj version I actually talk about it in this video

But the bike I most regret selling is my beloved Yamaha TRX850 I loved that thing and they are way more desirable these days!
