Many of you wanted a way for your videos to be critiqued and for them to be distinct from general posted videos. We decided against a whole section but created a thread instead.

It seems to have fizzled out a bit, so we're going to unsticky it and eventually close it, but it'll be kept for perpetuity.

Now there is a new system. As you keen eyed mobile phone spotting bikers will have noticed, this thread has a different genre mark than the others. And it's even in a different colour. So now when you want feedback, you create a thread IN THIS SECTION as you would any other.

HOWEVER! This is subject to a few conditions. Firstly the video HAS to be unlisted on YouTube and not public. Secondly, you're asking for feedback, some may not be pretty, but remember you asked for it. People will try to be polite and constructive (won't ya?!).

Abuse the system, we can do things to you. @Marbro_za is now a mod remember. He has unconventional methods, and he'll be watching.

Please remember, post ONLY your intro if using that section, not vlogs. A few seconds after the intro is fine if you want to demonstrate the transition from intro to video.

Oke, so with the new "Genre" option you can put a link of a private video to receive feedback.

In the case a video you might want to upload and just want to re-edit because you are not happy about it and want some advice.

But what about a video that is already online, and you want to make a similar one like it, but better.
Is it allowed to post that (older) video then here as well?

I can't imagine that'll happen too often.

I think we'll allow it for now but if it looks like people are abusing the system then we'll revise it.

Just to add, you'll need to upload as UNLISTED as PRIVATE means it can only be shared to specifically nominated people. An unlisted video is accessible to anyone with the link, but won't appear on your channel listings or in YT search.
