I know what you mean. I have some friends (not all) that follow my crap, but in general I don't ask or reveal the crap I do to my friends or family, some of them do find out though. I get laughed at a lot. Oh well.

So, the original question - is there anyone I don't want on my channel? I have actually thought about this before. I am really a beginner with motovlogging and I have not had any other youtube channels before. So I came to a conclusion, that my main fear would be people, I interact with on daily\weekly\monthly basis, judging me. So I don't push my channel through them. Several of my relatives and colleagues know, that I have a youtube channel and I have shown some of them bits of what I have uploaded. But because I do it in English, not in my native language, they do not seem to be very interested.
So I could say, there are no people I would not want on my channel, but I decided, at least for now, not to invite anyone to my channel, but rather have people discover me, and see if I can keep them interested.

Some folk assume an alter-ego when vlogging.
Some folk perform actions that aren't legal when vlogging.
Some folk want to be mysterious.
Some folk have concerns over privacy.

There are a few reasons to want to remain anonymous.
But I personally don't subscribe to any of them.

I generally don't try to hinder my friends and family from watching the vlogs, but then they aren't very interested. However, I don't show my face or disclose my identity mainly because of the nickname itself. Every time someone who knows me from the internet meets me IRL, they go "so you do have a face" or some other attempt at making jokes. Some even make an effort to find out who I am by themselves.

If I had a different username I would probably reveal my face with ease, but that would mean not just rebranding the channel, but also every other SoMe account I have because I use F4celess everywhere. And that's a bit too much of a bother.
