Alternative to Velcro for Drift...

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has an alternative for the Drift HD Velcro? I brought my camera over to New Zealand with me, but no way of mounting it! I've gotten a new helmet, so if anyone has a safe way of mounting it, let me know!! (Ordering the Velcro over here to NZ will cost about £25 from the UK!! I don't wanna spend that on some Velcro!)

You should be able to buy some velcro (maybe not that brand, but something similar) at a hardware store, and I know there's hardware stores in NZ.

Or you could do what I did when I got pissed after the 3rd application of double-stick tape wore out. I grabbed some liquid nails and glued the mounts to the helmet. If that shit fails then I think I'll just quit.

3m Dual Lock is the stuff you really want, apart from Trinith's Liquid Nails that is

3M Dual Lock is apparently the best 'velcro' type stuff you can get!! but it comes in a Mushroom shape

Does 3M hold it well?

Yeah your drift should have come with a piece of 3M tape for the clip bracket for your lid. I've used it on my lid and it shows no signs of coming off.

Mine came with some hardcore Velcro, but that's on my lid in Ireland
