I like to always take a screenshot from the video too. But with a little text. Often just so I know where I'm at when I'm managing the account!

It takes me about 10 minutes to make a post 
I have to load the page ten times to view a thread and then try to post 5 times. So frustrating!
Do you think the text helps that much for your views?

It's impossible to tell really. I can't see any patterns.
But more than anything I like the way my channel and my pages look as there's a definite theme running through all of the thumbnails. I'd like to think that anybody who would be crazy enough to actively seek out my videos might recognise them from the thumbnails too.

The thing with text is it ruins the thumbnail, and you never see the thumbnail without the title anyway.

True. ALthough I often try to select a freeze frame that has room for the title. So the txt fits around whatever might be in the picture.

I'm not getting enough views for the ads to actually be creating any revenue. And the risk of switching people off of the videos versus making $0.03 / day seemed like an easy choice!!

I did last week I think. It was the myriad of opinions and views that it gleaned that led me to stripping out my ads. They might come back, but not until I've at least tripled my subscribers!! Wishful thinking eh!

i like that statement. some thumbnails are like the click-bait that's on facebook. "YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS MOTOVLOGGER AFTER THIS!" at this point i'm doing this for fun. i like riding, i talk to myself when i ride, i want to share my trips with people, and i like messing with computers and editing things. i feel like a very small group of people (mom) will like my videos, but it's fun and i enjoy it. i'm getting zero views right now, so anything more than that is exciting.
also, this is one of the nicer forums I've been on. congrats guys!
