Advice For Dual Camera Editing?

I did a little review on my new helmet with my old ion camera facing me and my drift camera in the helmet pov position. I'm editing it as it type this, but i'm worried i may be switching back and forth too much. Or maybe not holding a shot for long enough in either direction. I try to cut to the handlebar cam when i'm talking with my hands or point at the helmet, etc, and i'm using the helmet pov cam as the main view. Should i be worried about switching too often or not often enough?

any advice is appreciated!

Stick one up and we'll tell you. :)

I'd say look at the length of time. A short break in speaking you might consider keeping the face view as it's a continuation, and when there's a longer gap switch to the forward view. You can do PiP as well, that way you've got both shots always on screen. Some of my vlogs around December are dual cam, and Swiss Motard's stuff that's not the Portugese stuff is dual cam, with a triple cam for his test footage that came out last week.

Thanks for the info! i'll post it when i'm done editing and take suggestions since i'll be doing more dual cam vlogs.

If you post it as an unlisted vlog, feel free to link here, if it's public, post it in the video section and link that thread here.

thanks! it'll still be a couple weeks before it's up. I did the "clap" method of syncing and it worked out incredibly well. I'm hoping that i'm pickier than anyone who watches my stuff. that is usually a good recipe
