I love my Aprilia Tuareg 660 and like to take it on the trails, which is the main reason I got the bike. I had a set of MotoZ Tractionator Adventure tires fitted to the bike from new, which lasted almost 5000 miles, I then switched to the MotoZ RallZ tyres which were also great in the sloppy mud...
The other day I met up with @NooBiker on my Aprilia Tuareg 660, he on his Royal Enfield Himalayan and we went trail riding on my local green lane loop in the Surrey Hills. It was a cracking day and great fun to hang out with him in the dirt.
Anyhows, here is the vid of what we got up to:
Wales is such a beautiful country to play motorcycles. Even with trail orientated tires, the Tuareg is great fun on the Welsh twisty roads...
We even rode through an incredible castle & the most beautiful coastal road. AWESOME trip & fantastic motorcycle!
On Saturday, I had my first subscriber road ride rideout. It was fantastic that so many people were able to attend and so many that couldn't do the ride, but still made the meetup ( @MotoWolfUK was ace to meet you mate).
Anyhows, here is my video from the ride from Rykas Cafe down to Loomies...
Last weekend I led a TRF (Trail Riders Fellowship) ride along some of the TET (Trans Euro Trail) down in Hampshire. It was a cracking day for it, although it would have been nice if the sun had shown it's face. Brill to get out on the bikes, and especially so with such a nice group of riders!
On this spin, I was out with a mate on their Husky FE350, it was a cracking days riding with some really deep water and a trail that was too much for my skills so had to bail on that one. Great fun throwing the Tuareg around in the mucky stuff though :-)
Here is my video from the very awesome Adventure Bike Rider Festival that was on over the weekend.
TLDR, it was absolutely fantastic and Ryan from FortNine was a proper gent! :-)
After quite a wait for the part to arrive from Italy, I finally got hold of a rear rack for the bike, now motocamping adventures can finally be had.
Anyhows, here is a very short install video showing how to mount it to a 2022 Aprilia Tuareg 660
Having owned the bike for a little over a week now, I thought it time to talk about my first impressions of the bike and show people what it is like both on and off road! :-)
My ears perked up back in 2019 when I first heard about Aprilia's new 660 engine, well I finally got to test it out thanks to Brighton Moto letting me have a Demo on the fantastic Aprilia Tuono 660. Here's what I thought of it:
Werd up peeps! It's been a year, happy to be back participating at motovlog.com :)
Full disclosure, this is more a quick first ride, versus full review. Amazing bike, a bit chuggy in 1st gear low rpm. Begs to be pushed. Hoping to get back on this bike when the weather improves, along with the...
