I have used two sites for royalty free music.
Both are free, you just have to link back to them and both have quite a good range of music.
I was easily able to find the right type of music for the feel that I wanted each time.
I just discovered Incompetech, His stuff is amazing. Sometimes there are multiple versions of songs so you can pick one that suits the mood best.
