Rom: one-one-six unashamed
Wow, finally got the camera set up done, the mic came in and I had to take the bike for a ride to get fresh tags (yesterday was my 40th birthday and thus the state says I must be punished monetarily for still living)...the planets were aligned for my first motovlog! I geared up, warmed the beast, hit record and was off!
I started talking and quickly noticed how it engages a completely different pet of your brain! Now being 40, there's only so much bandwidth of neuron transfer that can take place so it was a delicate dance from right to left brain (some might say no brain was a third option). I had some bike issues that needed sorting out, just my idle but it kept stalling at stops, but that quick break gave me the opportunity to reflect on the two things I was trying to accomplish...not crashing and having a conversation with people who aren't there!
This realization sent me into a different technique to try. A few stories, some observations, and some riding tips...all told like I was driving a car and talking to a passenger. The stories were the hardest because I actually noticed myself changing my eye position up and right which is what one tends to do when trying to remember something...not necessarily something good while trying to not die in a fiery crash that you, yourself, are recording!
Video is imported, lots to leave on the editing room floor but I should have something up soon on it!
