New Vlogger From San Diego, Ca

just started vlogging over the past few days took 3 days of attempts to get my mic to where you can hear me clearly (not perfect but work in progress) but i finally did it

i ride a 2014 triumph street triple R

camera is a gopro hero4 black
mic is a sony sony ecm-cs3
helmet is icon airmada miscreant

heres my channel (waiting on 10 posts) street survivor on youtube

let me know what you guys think and any tips you can give me to help improve my audio quality would be greatly appreciated i wrapped a micro fiber towel over the mic and secured it with gaffers tape under the pad inside the helmet liner where the chin strap goes

tried infront of my face but the breathing noise it picked up was unbearable i'm using the mic adapter to the gopro right now but am considering an external recorder has anyone had good success with this?

also what program do you guys suggest for cleaning up audio? i tried audacity but think i need to find some guides before i start going crazy in there

yea i just searched for myself aswell and its not showing up youtube won't let me add a thumbnail either wonder if its messed up

editing more clips right now. bought a new mic today, once i get the other stuff i recorded posted ill post some vids with the new mic. bought the audiotechnica at3350 hopefully it sounds better we'll see spent about an hour tucking up the cable into the helmet its crazy long. just gotta remember to switch it on now when i turn on the gopro lol need more batteries now too >.<

absolutely love the bike its a pleasure to ride its so nimble and very quick and quite light. maintenance isn't bad at all and its got a nice warranty too gas mileage is good too i can hoon it all day long and still get 40mpg honestly not much i'd trade it for aside from a speed triple r but that will come later. i watch a motovlogger from canada that has a street triple too cherrieblossoms is that your friend? only canadian motovlogger i know with a street triple if not shoot me a link to your friend i'd love to meet another street triple vlogger

my only complaint i gotta take my bike in soon i feel like the transmission is acting up lately just within the last few hundred miles sometimes i shift and it feels like nothing happens kinda like when you use a ratchet and it skips and tooth or two. sometimes i upshift and the shifter goes full swing but no upshift and it has no resistance on the shifter when it happens so idk hope its nothing but atleast its still under warranty only got like 3k miles on it so far

The transmission is acting up? That's odd. My friend never mentioned anything like that. I hope it's nothing!

I have the AT3350 and it is a great mic...but yes it has a hideous amount if cord. You can check out my vids for at-speed audio quality.
