Ok I have everything in place and now I have a recording off my GoPro now I loaded "Sony Vegas 13" and I was flicking through the actual frame settings and noticed it only has 1080x29.97fps roughly so was wondering any GoPro users out there record at 1080x60fps and which software you use and isit easy to setup....!

Not familiar with the settings for V13, but did you have en existing project open, or is this in the options to create a new project? I'd be surprised if it didn't have 60fps.

I selected new project and couldnt find anything with 1080p at 60 frames per second which rather shocked me cause the software isnt that old.....

I'm thinking maybe you have some settings wrong. I have an older version of sony vegas and it has the 60fps options. There are actually more than one.

Im doing it in GoPro software making it 1080px60fps then importing through sony vegas to do my edits I think thats how its going to work unless anyone knows a good program to use ?

When you create a new project you have to force it to 59.9 in the new project window...There is no option in the drop down but it still works as long as your footage is 60fps

Well thats the problem I have just had I done my video through the gopro software now it comes to proffesional edit and I was asked when opening it with Sony Vegas do I want to match it I select yes done my hours of dam editing to find out that after it has got my video ready its still converted it to 29.7fps :| WTF am I doing wrong !

Look for the fingers in this picture you will see when I open the file in Vegas it does actually do the 60fps but when I goto RENDER it... For some strange reason it does the file at 29FPS which is confusing me unless I am selecting a wrong render but I am doing "Internet HD 1080P" I will show picture of that also so you know..... any help would be appreciated and note all these videos are for youtube so if you know any better youtube settings please share :)

Its rendering at 60FPS as we speak but it didnt let me have the "Internet HD 1080P" setting I went for the only .mp4 setting there was image below I hope it is suitable for YouTube cause this editing has taken most of my day up lol

Ok here the thing I managed to edit what I wanted and it came out nice its what I wantedd but the file size was close to 5gb which really isnt right so therfore loaded the file into the GoPro software and converted it for YouTube settings which reduced it to 700MB which is reasonable since its 10 minutes long and is shot in 1080px60fps but what happens is NO SOUND omfg what am I doing wrong.

Edit movie with Sony Vegas 13 then redo in GoPro for youtube settings cause to me the file is too large for youtube 5gb nearly am I making life complicated for myself or what !!!!

5GB will be fine to upload.

You could also customise your other profile to be 59.94fps and choose the bitrate you're happy with manually.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro and it is pretty simple to use. I've used Vegas pro before back in the old days, but I switched! Now my license ran out or something so now I cant make videos anymore

Ok I am uploading the 5GB file to youtube at the moment will update after it has finished does this mean who ever watches my video will use 5gb bandwith ???? cause if ppl are on limited plans could be costly to watch if you know what I mean

You might send 5gig, but YT reencodes it anyway so it'll be smaller (probably) by the time people watch it.
