HahahaWhat if you hate the noise of your own voice![]()
Some of the biggest motovloggers do much more than that *cough*BakerXDerek*cough*. Im learning be who you ar,e not who you think people want to see.We drop F-Bombs all day long, I really don't think it will hurt the channel.
You will get better with the umms the more you do. I took about 3vlogs where I really focused on not saying it before it worked it self out. Not only does it sound better but from an editing perspective its less work to edit out. I was just looking at my first vlogs yesterday, and wow what a difference between then and now. After doing my first vlog I realised how hard it can be. For my next vlog I'm going to pre plan the subject. If I left in all my 'umm's my vlog would have been twice as long lol.
Yea - agreed. The other thing is getting rid of words like 'umm' and 'uhh' (filler words).
Yea - agreed.
My first pass in editing is a rough cut removing most of the gaps and some of the filler words (the fastest bit the whole thing).
The second pass removes the remaining 'umm's and all the coughs and sniffles. Christ I sniffle a lot when riding (it is cold here to be fair)
Someone further down suggested practise talking all the time when riding.
..... happy![]()
Therapy?:I just sing "let it go"
Thanks to my daughter I now know that bloody song line for line.....
I used to be zen like!
why don t u just record and drive around. don t worry about speaking right away. just rideThat's what I'm working on - talking while recording - until sounds natural. Had some practice this evening. I walked out of a relatives place I'd been visiting to jump on my bike and it was surrounded by cops and ambo's. Turned out there had been a pedestrian accident right next to my bike. Once I was able to leave I quickly recorded myself explaining the situation and felt as tho I was starting to get the hand of talking while recording and riding naturally. Practice makes perfect.
Yeah you raise a good point. I did it that way on my recent road trip of which I just posted a video (in the watch vlogs section) of random observations I made. Most of these clips I didn't have anything of worth to say or I didn't need to talk so I just recorded. Other clips yeah I just press record and spoke my mind e.g the jaywalking pedestrian.why don t u just record and drive around. don t worry about speaking right away. just ride
might say something later. seems like you focus a ot on what to say and how?
