Go light on me if you can suffer through 15 minutes of me not talking. The original recording was done in 1080p with the action cam's onboard mike. Compression was done by Youtube after upload, and now it looks horrible. Also, read the description, I make a couple of things clear in there too.

I didn't post this as public material, so it remains non-searchable, only accessible through the provided link. I need better software and some editing skills. Bought an external mike already, so the next recording will be done with that, and I'll try to throw in some relevant speech in there too.

Once you get rid of the wind noise and do some basic editing- you will be ready to go. Try a standalone audio recorder to get rid of the wind.

Thanks for the feedback, I got an external mike yesterday and I'm going to record through a professional recorder app on my iPhone. Do you know which program can I use on a Mac (that doesn't cost the earth) to combine sound files with video, and also do basic blurring, sound bytes and text overlays?

Mate. Sadly, I'm on a windows profile at the moment- So Im just using adobe. Will be upgrading to a IMAC in a couple months.

so far has been pretty good, maybe you need to add an external microphone and setting the camera angle mate ;)
 
good video. just need to angle the camera up some and good to go. simple editor will help you cut out all the silent parts. i do it on all my videos. helps keep peoples attention
