Youtube Networks

Hey Guys,

Been thinking about networks and partnership in general. I know its still probably early(ish) days for my channel but am interested to hear some experiences from those that are/have been partnered before.

How have they helped you? Have you seen a noticeable increase in CPM?

Just want to see if they are actually worth the effort and find out which ones are better geared for motovloggers?

They'll take a cut of all of your videos and promise the earth

Total waste of time

I tried rightseer entertainment who are pretty much takers without giving anything at all

Go back 3 years and parent networks were Awesome, They shared my videos on channels with over 500k subs, Got popular channels to like my video every now and then gave me video ideas.as the Months passed the honeymoon phase was over and the food gates of every network and every indian marketer were all on sales % for referring channels to other networks..

CPM DOES NOT CHANGE, regardless of what they offer, $2 to $10 per 1,000 confirmed Adsense views is total BS. you will never Ever get $10 because too many factors counteract that. heck you'd be lucky to get $1 per 1,000 Confirmed Montenized "checked and reconfirmed" youtube views.. NETWORKS ARE ONLY GOOD FOR Small channels.. the ones who are not big enough to get adsense, then again youtube lets anyone monteinze videos now days..SpaceP0d For example asked me about 2 years back about the same issue, he went on a 12 month contract with Socialblade who are a sibling for Maker studios.
Like me at First, SpaceP0d was happy with the progress but quickly decided that Networds was not for him as the networks now have 100,000 or so channels under them so realistically
the only channels who actually get help now days are the ones with 200k subs or more.. all the Networks do now is send you some spam mail, tell you about some new and irrelevant youtube feature coming out soon thats going to fuck your channel even more (talking about Google+) and then they will take 30% because they can..

So id say, NO. don't partner with a channel.

Once i am out of this BS contract that Maker Studios Auto-renewed on me when i was on holiday I will never Ever go back.. I finish with them in Dec 2014.

if you like to know more, reply here or on Facebook.

Partnerships are a waste of time, they promise high % rates from your views but really they just cu it down as much as you can and get you stuck with then for 2 years without being able to leave, my other Channel when I first got partnered, I got £8 or something cut down to £0.07! It's stupid, you're better off waiting and going directly through the YouTube partner program. As long as you don't have any copyrighted footage, music or pictures in your videos, then you will be able to get partnered easily with the tight amount of views and subscribers :)

Thanks guys for the comments, interesting to see it from the side of people who have actually experienced things. I am already partnered with YT and have been since the start so will just stick with that.

Auto-renewing contracts is a pretty dick move...
