Arai helmet mic placement?

I've got an Arai Defiant helmet and I can't figure out where to place a Drift mic. Anyone else have a similar issue and a solution? My Icon Airframe and Airmada helmets are pretty easy to get a mic situated in, but, well, I just don't like them.

The camera's going on the helmet...somewhere. There's just no easy spot to clip the mic without cutting the helmet liner, that I can find.

This is what I do with my Arai RX-7. Run the wire behind the cheek pad and leave the mic by your cheek/corner of the mouth. I have a mic extension permanently fixed so I just plug the mic to the side of my helmet.

Interesting. I hadn't considered stuffing the mic in there. I have the wiring in place under the padding. I'll give it a go. Thanks guys!
