Channel art/logo designers

So I searched the forum for this topic and didn't find anything. Anyway I want to get myself a better channel art/logo to make my Youtube page all pretty. I've made a couple of inquires on Youtube and did a few e-mails and haven't gotten any response.

I tried to do some stuff in gimp and I'm not to happy with it so I was just wondering some of you guys that have some really nice professional looking art who did you get to design it or would you be willing to do something for me. I think the going price of most packages I see for a whole Youtube theme is about $100 I'm not really willing to spend more than that. Can anyone help me out?

Hey all, Just wanted to mention as I saw this thread. I'm a freelance developer looking to get work (Just started as a developer) Just send me a message and I'll get back to you.. I'm always looking for new things to do and right now I wouldn't mind doing a few projects free of charge. (needing to build the portfolio up some more) Obviously if people keep asking me repeatedly for stuff to be done I'll be looking to charge a small fee.

what i will do is choose and upload to my imgur account guys, keep in mind though that i deal with advertising so you'll see professional corporate work etc as well as i'll include some of my personal stuff. To give you a background on how i got into graphics was due to my drawing habit and constant question of authority in school i ended up in fine art, that grew into a graffiti habit where i still get commissioned to paint businesses and legal walls/murals. I then ended up airbrushing surfboards as i live in Durban south africa where there's a big surfing culture and i am a surfer. Needless to say, i ended up studying design and found myself in a huge corporate company up until this year where i chose another career path. If anyone is serious about logos/art etc send me a private message and we can correspond further via email.

Yeah I think a lot of people has done it themselves some look pretty good some not so much. you can tell though who had someone else do it or at least someone who knew what they were doing.
