I went out and tested the modified Sena boom mic to see how it does.
I'm editing the video now, and it doesn't sound too bad.
I'll be finished editing and uploading the motovlog later tonight.

I'll have to check this vid. I'm putting together a list for my initial setup now, and the Sena mic mod seems to make sense.
If you can find a Sena boom, or Cardo boom mic with a 3.5mm TRS jack already attached, do that. The 10R boom mic has weak wires.

I'm currently using my Cardo lapel mic that came with my Packtalk Edge. It's attached to the chin bar of my full face helmet, attached to my Packtalk. Is there a way of integrating this current setup with a camera? Or will I need 2 mics in the helmet; one for the Packtalk and one for the camera?

I'm not sure on what comms unit he used, but @PhilTonic has made some posts on getting comms audio into his camera
