The New Drift Ghost XL Pro

I have my thoughts on the new Drift camera going up on my channel in the morning, have any of you got it already? Be interested to hear your thoughts on it, especially if they differ to mine! :-)

I loved Drift prior to the 4K. I'm still rocking my Ghost X as my primary camera, the GoPro and I are not getting along. Hero 9 has been relegated to 2nd cam status. So I'm hoping the improvments to this new one give me the camera I hope for.

Great review. Like you said on your YT channel, if I were in the UK I'd take you up on your offer to buy the XL Pro. Aside from the slow speed look the stabilization has its a great camera for what I'm looking for. My current Ghost S doesn't have stabalization and when on my helmet it's fine. There aren't any jelly effects on the footage. It could also be that my bike doesn't have a lot of vibration through the motor or body that could require a stabilization effect. At least not with a camera on my helmet.

If the audio cable isn't too much of a problem (or can it be adjusted with a different kind of adapter cable?), then I'll be looking forward to the new camera. I'll probably wait until after Tax Day here in the US - April 18th (gotta pay a lot this year too) and for the end of the month when I tend do get my paychecks from the places where I teach.

I think the mic adaptor is what it is, it'd have been better had it been a right-angled plug that you could point to the rear, but that is a small niggle.
