There was a HOG magazine article where a guy put sort of off road tires on a Road King and went on some trails in Africa.I want an ADV bike so that I can be that guy.
Would it not be easier to just not to want to ride, where your bike can't?The is the fun of ADV bikes, you can ride anywhere you want.
I'd love to get an ADV for a second bike but then I'd have to buy the gear to go with it too and I'm not sure all of that money spent would really bring me any more joy than I can get now by just riding around on my Goldwing. Sure I could go more places off road and such, but I've got a list of over 100 places I want to visit on my Wing right now, so it's not like I'm out of destinations! The is the fun of ADV bikes, you can ride anywhere you want.
