Interesting. Resolve may become the new package when I decide to bin Adobe Premier Pro.

I'm sure Premier Pro is the same way, but I keep finding new features in DR and implementing them, and some of them are great for optimizing work flow.

I threw together a 6-minute review of a USB Hub I bought this week in just over 2 hours, from soup to nuts. I looked up at the clock when I was done and was like really, that's all it took?

Then I looked at my spreadsheet and how much time I logged for an 8-minute video going in-depth on my Tour Pack install and realized I spent close to 7 hours on that one and was like WTH, I need to be able to do this faster!

@Arfa are you still able to easily access and use the flip up switch one handed, whilst riding?

Yep, just about. The flip up button is just below the mount. The vent it just above. Front vent on the Neotec is piss poor anyway, I never have it shut and nearly feel anything through it at best of times. Flipping lid up is doable, just a tiny bit fiddly with fat glove fingers.

I probably should note how long I spend on each edit but to be honest I think that would take away some of the pleasure.

Yeah always wee bits can be found that speed things up, like creating templates that can be imported.

I track a bunch of stuff and like seeing statistics, so it was natural for me to track what videos I'm working on. I have columns for time spent editing, when it was edited, when it was finished, posted to youtube, what folder it's in, and what stage of the process it's in. Then I filter out the Posted ones and it shows me just what's in the queue to be worked on :D

Drakhen99 are you an Engineer because my dad is at that' exactly the kind of thing he'd do.

He has a spreadsheet of all his wine.... :D

Not per se... but I am a software engineer.

It all started many years ago when I got in over my head in some credit card debt... so I wrote a debt calculator program, which required me to teach myself Java (on a Mac no less!) and then I converted the resulting CSV data into a spreadsheet (Numbers, for those paying attention :D ).

Then, I'd track it month over month, and created a bills spreadsheet, the format of which still lives to this day on my PC and I use it each month to make sure I pay my bills on time.

I got out of debt :D

Then I started tracking my vehicles' cost-per-mile, including payments, gas, repairs, mods, insurance, all because my buddy was telling me how cheap his BMW was to own over the 10 years he had it. Plus it helps with service reminders, because I can say, "no, it's only been 3 months since I replaced the air filter - no need yet!"

So it was quite logical to me to keep track of what videos I had in the editor, which I had planned, which I had finished, and how long it took to edit and post them to YT.

If you think I'm bad, you should see my wife ... she was a math major in college and tracks EVERYTHING. She whips out our yearly Christmas Card List in about 30 minutes, on printed labels, ready to stick on the envelopes. That woman is so organized it's ridiculous!
